There are seasons in life where everything feels transitional- where nothing is fully formed, yet everything is quietly becoming. I find myself in one of those seasons now.
I’ve lived between countries, between versions of myself, between certainty and curiosity. Travel has shaped me, not in the glossy, postcard way, but in the quieter moments: airports at dawn, unfamiliar streets, conversations with strangers who momentarily mirror something back to you. Movement has taught me that identity is not fixed- it responds to place, pace and presence. I’ve come to think of becoming as something that unfolds in motion. In departures and returns. In the way cities imprint themselves on you and in how you leave parts of yourself behind without noticing. Travel, for me, has never been about arrival. It’s about the subtle recalibrations that happen along the way.
Dating, too, has its own rhythm of observation. It reveals how we show up, what we tolerate and what we soften around. I’ve learned that connection is less about perfection and more about awareness of self, of others, of timing. Relationships, too, exist in these quiet spaces. The pauses between messages. The unspoken understandings. The moments where you sense alignment, or its absence, without needing to name it. There is a choreography to connection, a negotiation of closeness and distance, not unlike movement itself.
Style, for me, lives in that same in-between. It shifts with context, with mood, with distance. What we choose to wear often has less to do with how we want to be seen and more to do with how we want to feel moving through the world. Some days call for structure, others for softness. Both say something- even when we don’t intend them to. What I wear often reflects how I want to move through the world that day- protected or open, grounded or expressive. Clothing becomes a kind of language when words feel insufficient. In unfamiliar cities, it’s often the first way we introduce ourselves.
What interests me most is not the experience, but the awareness of it. The noticing. How posture changes in unfamiliar rooms. How silence can feel expansive or heavy. How certain environments invite openness, while others ask for restraint.
This journal is an exploration of those spaces. Between certainty and curiosity. Between expression and protection. Between who we have been and who we are slowly becoming. Fashion, travel and relationships are not the subject, but the lens- ways of observing how we inhabit ourselves.
Nothing here is fixed. That feels important.
If there’s one thing I’m learning, it’s that becoming is not about arriving. It’s about allowing yourself to change- thoughtfully, honestly and with intention.
Solimeo Studio is a place for reflection rather than resolution. For presence over performance. For asking better questions and allowing the answers to remain unfinished. Because, if you’re anything like me, the unknown is frightening and living presently is a daily struggle that requires intentional shifting.
